Art Versus Tech

Creating the presentation on whether to take art or tech was drastically different from our presentations about CAS and the EE. We had to do a few things differently in order to create this presentation, just because the content itself was so different. Before, we were simply presenting about an aspect of IB, but now the presentation was a comparison between two things, and thus it required more research. Beyond discussing the technical aspects of each subject (the assessments and requirements) we had Ibrahim who took tech talk about his personal experience with tech while I talked about my experiences with art, which helped to provide a personal perspective to students. The biggest downfall was that tenth-graders were not actually offered tech, which was a miscommunication between the school administration and IB Ready. This could have been avoided if we reached out to the administration about it, and thus led to a presentation effectively being wasted.
