Aftermath of the Project

The time after the IB Kickstart event saw the conclusion of our work together. We have put the information together online for access for current and future underclassmen, and hopefully it has proven helpful for those who didn’t have the opportunity to attend. I was happy to receive emails which asked additional questions as well. All in all, there were a few issues with the amount and type of content we released. Of course we didn’t end up releasing videos for a numerous amount of reasons, mostly because people don’t want to watch informational videos based on content they felt they’d learn anyway. This is ultimately why we surmised it into one big mandatory event, where they could get the information they needed quickly. That was successful. Beyond that, there might be plans to share the presentation or do something similar next year, but that is distant and thus not at the forefront. Reflecting on the process, we have all learned more about public speaking and teaching without sounding condescending. I, personally, am proud with how the project went.
