Major Presentation- IB Kickstart!

After a few weeks of planning and coordination, the IB Kickstart! Event went, for the most part, smoothly. The turnout was good, with more than 70 10th graders and their parents joining in for the event. However, that is not to say that there weren’t hitches in the event. For example, due to our own miscommunications, we presented for certain content that isn’t applicable to the current 10th grade, namely regarding art and tech. It hadn’t been known to us that the current 10th graders had no choice but to take art, and so there was quite a bit of resulting confusion. However, despite this, our practice paid off. We stayed within the time frame, and we answered many questions regarding the IB and taking first steps over the summer. All in all I am happy with how the event went, and hope it might become a recurring process.
